Project name: The Development of  the Centers of Public Diplomacy as a Basis for Cross-Border Dialogue and the Consolidation of Peace in the Caucasus region.

The project is supported by BST (Black Sea Fund for Regional Cooperation).

Implementing organization: the Association of initiative projects "Centre of Science and Social Innovations"

Project duration: April 2014 to March 2015.

Project location: Russia, Georgia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Turkey.

Project participants:

- Non-commercial partnership "Center for Science and Social Innovation"

- Stavropol branch of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation

- South-Ossetian State University.

Project goal: development of centers of public diplomacy (Tbilisi, Batumi (Georgia), Sukhumi (Abkhazia), Tskhinvali (South Ossetia), Stavropol, Moscow, St. Petersburg (Russia))  as a platform for cross-border dialogue, resolution and transformation of conflicts in the Caucasus region.

Project challenges:

I. Development and  expansion of the  Russian-Georgian Forum aimed at future  cooperation and dialogue.

II. Development of the school of public diplomacy to work up methodological approaches in peace-building processes in the Caucasus.

III. Resource and information support of the project.

Project events:

I. The 2nd Georgian-Russian Forum in Tbilisi. During this event was hold  one press conference.

II. Workshop in Batumi. Delegation of 6 people arrived in Batumi in order to establish contacts between the scientific communities of the two countries and learn about the experience of reforms.
